In the screen, the expression of the creator has to be given to the audience immediately, because there is no turning back in movie. It is not like reading a book where we can reread the last page again. Every filmmaker just wants to grab the attention of its audience for 10 minutes. Throughout the essay the main parts will revolve around the works of Chaplin and how has he influenced the audience. Flom (1997) commented that the transition from silent films to sound films will be discussed in the essay. Chaplin describes his early film career by saying that, “Actions and effects are necessary however the movie should have a point cut that makes the audience feel the situation of the story.”  (Flom, 1977). The best way to achieve this is through one character whom the audience is familiar with or whom the audience likes to watch frequently. This character could be heroic or of a villain, as long as he owns such characteristics of what people associate with and understand as well as agree the problem coming across in the story.
