Moreover, I read a lot of novels and watched several movies during high school. Out of my imagination, I created a character set and some simple game plots with my friend and was praised by my peers. At that time, I presented it to the students only because of the fear of parents’ opposition. I love to delve into the character’s background and task settings when playing PC games. At the time of playing online games, I generally experience the background of the gaming world and strive to achieve a higher level. By playing online games, I aspire to build team efforts, develop teamwork and team spirits. I also improved my communication skills, and was able to focus more on things. I believe these would be helpful to me in my future aspirations.In college, I gave up the economics as a subject, as my university did not have any game-related major; then I chose to major in a subject which covered a wide range of specialty – sociology.
I believe this subject rendered me a broader knowledge of the background and vision as it involves all kinds of aspects of economy, politics and culture. Whether the social research methods could be used in planning products in a better manner or different cultures are suitable for different regions games; all of these could be very helpful to me. This would act as an accumulated knowledge for my future dreams.After I decided to enter the gaming production career, I went to a domestic well-known game company for an internship during last summer and to try my hands as a game designer. But, it was by observing the work of my predecessors that I learned a lot by the basic role of the producer in the process of development of the game. They played games which were produced by them every day so as to find some error in the same and thus could report it to the concerned team. Also, they would have some plans and chose a best one through team meetings, which taught me about the significance of team-work. It is because of my experience with them that I understood the significance of leadership in a team.
