L2 learning is not a genetically triggered process. The L2 learning process is not similar to that of L1 learning process (Larson–Freeman, 2007). The children or the adults need to take a systematic approach in learning the language. To learn the L2 language process, the children do not learn the language unconsciously. They need to have more awareness of the learning process, deconstruct the language to learn the new language and its lexical constructs. There should be efforts taken to learn the second language. Hence, in order to learn the second language, there should be efforts taken to understand the nuances of the language.
As a first step, there should be understanding of the phonology of the English language. Ola should first take the time to learn the audible sounds that are used for communication of the language. Phonology is the study of understanding the systematic organization of the sounds in the language. They are conventionally focussed on the study of the phonemes or phonematics of a particular language. These linguistic analyses encompass articulatory gestures, articulatory features, syllable, onset and the rime of the words (Richard-Amato, 2006). The language sounds need to be considered to understand the nuances of the linguistic meaning of the words.
Apart from this, the roots of a language and the linguist development need to be understood in order to learn the language. For this purpose, it becomes imperative to understand the culture of the place to speak to the people.
Rhetoric in the language is the reflection of the culture. There are specific jargons that are observed in every profession. The people in a similar profession use the jargons or similar phrases that their peers can understand. Same connotation is observed with people from the similar culture. The people from every geographical proximity have innate understanding and shared value systems. This is reflected in their cultural practices and in the language that they speak. It is evident that the people use specific sounds to mean a certain issue.
