The market based view can be eluded as the industry that makes a particular viewpoint based on the situation and the market needs. The resource based view is creating operation process that determines what needs to be done on the basis of the resources that are available.The business stakeholders are the employees- who are impacted by the media content and – people who are instrumental in creating intangible factors. The financial stakeholder’s are- people who have invested in tangible forms and have interest in the financial resources of the company. Acquisition of the company can be explained as the way in which companies procure another company and make determination based on this analogy. The turnaround is the practice of the company to make determinations based on the ways in which the company can bring change management with available resources.
The company must factor in the strategic assets. They must consider the product, customer function and focus on the core competency of the company. For example, Samsung can make a decision that is factored on the “pocket-ability” for comprising the electronics and entertaining. In the case of the HCL Company, the company must create proactive strategy to gain newer consumer base and also developed. The main question that needs to be asked in this paradigm is what the competitors do in the creation of the strategies. There should be decisions that are dependent upon identification of strategic assets of the company (Mullins, Walker and Boyd Jr, 2012). If a company has managed to create an effective supply chain, they can diversify the services rendered and harness on these supply chains.
Companies in the hypercompetitive industry are found to imitate the successful strategies of the market leaders. These makes very difficult for the companies to sustain in the competitive advantage. The companies should develop their own unique selling proposition to meet the environmental trends and the competitive activity. The company must develop a feasible plan and monitor the deployment plan. This would create a situation where they can sustain in the competitive environment.
