Another thing which needs to be taken care of that I have to work closely with the managers so that I can track the people reporting to them on a daily basis. It is very important to work closely with the newly appointed team initially so that they all get to know the hand of the business well.
With profits pouring in, this section would talk about the right things which the company did in the last five years which made the company open five new offices in two cities. The organizational structure would be changed again to accommodate the employees and the five new locations. The major change which would happen would be at the top level. Each city would have a city head to which the managers of each location would be reporting to. Rest of the structure would be the same. However the number of client relationship officers and client relationship assistants would increase so that they can cater to a large number of clients. Undoubtedly, the company has done some great things and that too differently which has helped the company to grow and as a result of which the number of clients have also increased. This would also talk about the friction which happens among the employees when the company is undergoing a structural change. During the organizational structure change, there is a lot of commotion in the organization pertaining to the reporting hierarchy.
In order to keep in touch with all the employees, the city head needs to have regular teleconferencing call to keep himself up to date and also to let the employees know if there has been any changes in the company’s policies and processes. The company should also indulge in quarterly reviews so as to be on the same page with the rest of the employees.
