1 This position involves coordinating with the advertisement agency which has been hired to make advertisements for the company’s product (Shimp and Andrews, 2013).
2 Senior Marketing Executive (Promotion) has to explain to the advertisement agency the organization culture, marketing strategy and vision of the company.
3 The person has to decide regarding the budget for the production of the advertisement.
4 The individual has to play an active role in bringing the company and the advertising agency in agreement regarding the contents of the promotional message. The person has to merge creativity and commercial considerations (Shimp and Andrews, 2013).
5 The person has to take decision regarding the media to be used for forwarding the promotional message of the firm.
6 The individual has to decide regarding the frequency of the messages and also negotiate with different parties regarding the costs involved in relaying the message.
7 The person has to play an active role in developing the brand equity of the company’s products (Baker and Saren, 2010).
8 The individual has to decide where the new product of the company will be launched. The person would direct a team of marketing executives to make all arrangements at the venue for the launch. The person would take steps to inform the media and consumers regarding the launch of the new product.
9 The individual has to coordinate with the dealers of the company’s products regarding the promotional activities at the retail outlets.
