The purpose of the report will be to present an exploratory analysis on how Embedded System is being used in higher education, primary and secondary education curriculums by critically dissecting sample projects from the Universities and K-12 schools. Analysing the sample prototype projects, the researcher attempts to present what could be included in the curriculum of RMIT. Four case studies are taken from two universities and two K-12 schools level environment. Aspects of the case study as related to the beneficial outcomes for the students, the course objective and the pedagogical issues in incorporating embedded systems understanding in school and university are presented. The relevancy for improving embedded engineering related curriculum for RMIT INTE2043 education curriculum is presented.
