This is however not the case with knitting for me. There is still a lot to learn in the handling of knitting. I still find it hard and daunting to create the perfect designs from knitting. In the previous project, where there was collaboration of the menswear student, I had to finish four garments. I was not able to complete the fourth garment because of my limitation in gaining proficiency over the knitting skills. I also did not fully grasp the importance of time management. I was a bit demoralized when the knitting panel looked so different and there was still lacks in the presentation of the style. There are still a lot of efforts that should be taken to understand the dynamics of creating garments. The issues of weight, time, external mitigating factors should be learnt. From the feedback of the teachers, I am able to decipher that my strengths were further bolstered owing to the education received. I had always known that I had some talent and raw skills. The university and my time with LCF has made me a better art student and also a better creator. It has instilled in me confidence and the sense to go after what I want in life. I did not have this confidence previously.
