The prize money was announced 3.5 million$ for the winner, 1.5 million$ for the runner-up,750,000$ for each losing semi-finalist team, a bonus of 50,000$ for all teams qualifying for the super ten round, and a guaranteed participation bonus of 300,000$ for all 14 teams participating in this event. The sponsorship of this event was given to Fox sports TV channel (the leading Australian sports channel) who broadcasted the live coverage of all cricket matches of this tournament (Kennell, and Abson, 2012). ICC World Cup was also broadcasted on different TV channels in different countries, for ex- Sky Sports in the UK. From the event, cricket world cup 2015, it is evaluated that this mega international cricket event was successfully organized with the participation of the event organizers, event managers, sponsors, and other supportive cricket staff members. The audiences or spectators in the crowded capacities in the sports grounds also enhanced the popularity of this mega cricket event.

This event was implemented within a determined time, allocated budget, and estimated resource requirements. From the evaluation of the event, it is identified that the event was successfully organized by ICC after meeting the mission, aim, and objectivity of the event. The core event team members, sponsors, and cricket experts played significant roles in the smooth running of the business event. The sponsors helped in designing of the event through a systematic architecture. Each member of the event team emphasized its role and duty significantly to manage the each activity of the event.
