Cooperative Endeavour: The induction program for the barrister should be a cooperative affair and a two way communication from the company and the employee. The program should inculcate the feeling of commitment, team work and responsibility in employees so that they participate actively in induction program to attain knowledge about safety measures, varieties of coffee available in coffee cafe, handling of warehouse and home delivery services. The induction program should have a lasting impression on new entrants for the image and working in coffee cafe. Proper management of time and following of traffic rules will be taught to new entrants during the training session.
Follow up and evaluation of training program:
The induction program is conducted with an aim of giving employees what they desire and they will give us what we desire. A proper check of duties performed by the barrister in cafe should be done to ensure the effectiveness of the induction and training program.
The effectiveness of induction program will be judged through personal interview of barrister to know what he has learnt from the training and induction session and what experiences he is having while working at the cafe. The interview will be an open communication session so that both parties feel free to talk about their expectations from each other (Johnston, 2005). Information will be collected about the prior working experiences of barrister and working styles of the old company. Information regarding referrals by barrister will be collected who can be a part of our team in future. The motive of referral information is to build strong candidate data base for future use.
