Product process matrix has an array bearing a horizontal dimension. The horizontal dimension has a representation of the volume and variety range.The range is from the low volume products all the way to the high volume consisting of the highly standardized products.The vertical dimension of the product-process matrix is a representation of the manufacturing process. This interpretation comprises of the casual input to batching tasks then to mass production and finally the continuous process (Chandra & Kamrani,2004).
