The hotels need to develop their service offering keeping the consumer in mind. There is the market based view and the resources based service development that must be carefully crafted. These are used to differentiate the property, the offer that is given to the consumers must be unique, and the competition must create a paradigm where the people feel that they are different service rendering (Kusluvan et al., 2010; Guerrier & Deery, 1998).
The unique value proposition must meet the basic industry requirements and create the paradigm that the people meet the demands of the situation (Sigala & Baum, 2003). This is a holistic factor that must be considered while creating the value proposition for the brand. Moreover, this is an important factor that must be contended while there is creation of an appropriate strategy (Jones, 1999).
Once the unique value proposition is defined, they must be rendered to the consumers. The consumer acceptance of the unique value proposition is the major indicator that would foster towards the development of the brand. The use of the unique value needs to be measured against the quantitative data (Mok et al., 2013). These are found to come in different forms and shapes. The companies look for innovative ways to build this schema and try to improve the definable results. The people need to solicit thought from the consumers and ensure that the hotel provides the different offers (Barrows & Bosselman, 1999).
