MS program in Accounting at University at Buffalo, The State University of New York will offer me a chance to pursue my goals with wide horizon of opportunities which are much lacking in the undergraduate student. In order to strengthen my professional career I have opted for this degree which is ideal for perusing my goals. It will strengthen my career by developing additional skills pertaining to practical context of Accounting and general management tools. As far as my professional experience is concerned, I have worked as Assistant Auditor of BOD CHINA CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS LLP. My experience as Assistant Auditor (from June 2013 to August 2013) has helped me to increase my professional exposure in the field of Accounting to a larger extent. During this job I remained connected with the clients in order to learn their requirements which enabled me to excel my communication skills. In addition to this collection of data relevant to client requirements was a tough and challenging task but I completed it successfully hence boasting up my confidence. I have also been a member of auditing team and have prepared one company’s financial statements which proved very helpful for my company in terms of increasing profitability. Working as an auditor has increased my understanding about accounting principles especially new accounting standards of IFRS. I personally think that acquiring MS degree with such practical professional experience is a good move on my part. I have also prepared financial reports for the clients and gave professional financial proposal to clients. Moreover, I have worked with other team members to successfully make a RMB 1,000,000 budget for a client.
