This form of movement does not just promote temporary technological fixes but rather gets down to the fundamental root cause of the problem. In more current times it is technological fixes such as recycling and more that is being addresses, however for a longer range of concerns, it is necessary for the planning to preserve to use more in-depth movements. This is the ideology behind the deep ecology movement. These fixes however are not holistic as they only solve an aspect, they do consider nature and its beings and everything in it as the stakeholders, it is either increased carbon or reduced rain forests etc, these are not seen in a holistic sense by policy makers.
