To bring the planning process forward, work group was then formed for each strategic focus leading by a group leader either CGM(N)/ CNO and with members from GM(N)s, SAG/ SCG/ MAG Convenors, NSGCC Members, Managers from HAHO NSD to develop the short-medium (3 year) and long term (5 year) initiatives. The 4 strategic foci and the corresponding strategies were deliberated and agreed at the Strategic Planning Workshop for Nursing Services Development on 25 May 2015. The short-medium terms and long terms initiatives were also identified. The 4 strategic foci are as follows:Workforce Capacity and Capability、Nursing Service Quality and Safety、Ambulatory Care、Community and Primary Health Care.These foci have been followed week on week with various short and medium term initiatives that have to be presented on 30 June 2015 at SMM(N).

So, COC-G(N) have also dropped their endorsements on the proposal and strategies on 5 June 2015. The wellness of a department lies in the way the workforce exhibits the capacity.
