Developing a personal logo is one of the most challenging and significant aspects of becoming a designer. It is the initial step one takes towards building a professional brand that will be used to communicate much about their designing sense, ability, and style.
As a photographer and an illustrator, I find it necessary to apply the concept of brand identity and strategy with my work. Also, in order to sell yourself for a job during interviews and presentations, it is essential to capture the interest of your audience with first impression. Therefore, it’s necessary that one makes this impression impactful and noticeable. Ultimately, in order to portray myself as a designer and creative, I will be using the following logo to define myself. This can be also be applied to selling my ideas, concept, skills, and personality during a job interview or presentation:
I have decided to use a monogram in a simple black colour. This design explicitly defines my sense of style, which is simplistic and intricate in nature. I feel that the colour black is quite powerful and defines a bold and versatile meaning. Therefore, with the use of this design and a monogram, I hope that I can define a sleek and professional brand identity. I have tried to incorporate symbolism in the logo because I feel that it defines an effective brand strategy. If you analyse closely, the symbol that I have used is the “infinity” sign or ∞. The reason behind my choosing of this sign is simple – as a designer, I have infinite access to creativity and infinite design possibilities.
