There is no doubt in the fact that all the institutions and the teachers are trying their best to make sure that the non-English speaking students get along with the English speaking students. There are several easy steps and methods with the help of which the objective could be achieved more easily and effectively (Hamayan et al, 2007). The library in the school is a place where students spend most of their time. Even the English learners spend their time here so that they could learn more. In order to make the libraries more effective there are some easy steps which every institution should follow.
Firstly, the foreign language materials should be accessible to the students. Usually these books are kept at one hidden corner of the library. The translated books in native language should be visible to the students so that they gain their knowledge in academics. The library must be up to date as per the course so that they can keep materials for most of the topics in translated language (Haynes, 2012). Secondly, the library should try to keep at least one book from every origin. Since the number of students from various countries vary hence usually in libraries the number of books are more for the countries form where more number of students come, but the library should take care and keep the books even for that one student who is all alone from his native.
