I also wanted to use the forest space to present the time deviance, where the character seems to be interlocked in time and although shown to be running from one to another end is running in the same space. If time was to progress as the character in the movie runs from one to another, there should be space covered but this is not the situation in the production. This was a technique that was used in movies such as room 1408, where space and time are seen to work in bizarre ways. The main character in such a movie looks at him from his hotel window, as if he is passing himself in space and time in a way that he should not have been. In my movie I have presented the character in a similar way where the characters look at each other, perceive that something is wrong and then merge into one character in space and time. The focus here was to show the concept of twins and have the twins look at one another, but in a creepy way for a person who watches the movie the first time they would believe they are looking at the same person merged as one.
I believe this aspect that I have presented is one of the stronger conceptualizations in the movie and in the future I would like to develop this concept of a character divided from itself in time as the core concept of the movie. The second most distinguishing aspect I felt was needed in my movie was that of colour schemes. Different colour schemes would be presented in order to arouse the audience, but some colours stand out more than others. Now red is often considered as a colour that would excite, in a horror movie red finds obvious representations in the colour of the blood and more. However, using a lot of this colour in the movie might take away the central focus from the theme of the movie which is that of space, time and bodies.Also media articles that I have studied seems to indicate that red might not appeal to all audiences, people who are subtler by nature might get turned off by red (Sean, 2015). Also the purpose of the movie is not to present gruesome details but rather to present those aspects forming the theme of the movie in a more succinct way.
