Jack Dorsey was born on 19th November 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri, US to Tim and Marcia (Smith) Dorsey. Dorsey is a catholic and was raised as a Catholic with the values of the religion, and his father worked in a spectrometer manufacturing company while his mother was a home maker. The life was more simple and embedded in the catholic values that he was brought up with. His uncle as a priest in a church in Cincinnati also had an impact on his catholic beliefs and shaped up his later life. He also went to a catholic school and was trained in catholic religion and beliefs. While in his early age, Dorsey began to be interested in computers, programming, and communications and started programming while studying at the Bishop DuBourg High School. The high school student interested in computers and starting to make programs is a very rare occurrence and Dorsey was one of them (Gilbert, 2015).
